For those of you who love flyfishing, all of this cold weather and snow can be a bit of a turn off, but remember there are warm weather alternatives. Saltwater flyfishing is the fastest growing part of our sport, and there are lots of opportunities in our Southern states in the winter. Redfish can be found from Texas to the Carolinas, and snook fishing in Florida is spectacular.
Many of you think of flyfishing only for trout, but various saltwater species, such as, lady fish, jacks, sea trout, snapper and the mighty tarpon add another dimension to this great sport. You might just get hooked!
